There are plenty of new features and updates to take advantage of in this new release and given it is now the latest LTS version of Umbraco CMS we would certainly advise planning on upgrading given it will not reach end of life until the end of 2028.
When considering on when to upgrade it is worth noting that the previous version (Umbraco 16) will reach end of life in June 2026 and the previous LTS version (Umbraco 13) will reach end of life in December 2026.
